Science Fair
TIMES² Academy Science Fair is the school's trademark event to showcase project based learning in grades 6-12.  Science Fair allows students to explore their areas of interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.  Students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have obtained in the classroom to see concepts come to life.  Students have the opportunity to build on their projects year after year to improve the quality of the project and to learn more as they progress.  The Science Fair projects are often used as the capstone project for graduation.  The TIMES² Academy Science Fair is a centerpiece for conceptual and project based learning at TIMES² Academy.

Our first Science Fair at TIMES² Academy was in spring of 2010.  TIMES² Academy sent ten students to the Rhode Island state science fair.  Several of our students won awards at the state level, including a student who was chosen to attend the International Science Fair in Reno, Nevada.  Because of the success in its inaugural year, it was decided that Science Fair will be a major capstone for TIMES² Academy from 6th to 12th grade.

Congratulations to the 2011 TIMES² Academy Science Fair winners!
