WPRI-TV CHANNEL 12 NEWS REPORTER JULIANNE LIMA TO HOST TIMES2 INC.'S THIRD ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT ON JUNE 4TH

January 15, 2019 (Providence, Rhode Island) - TIMES2 Inc. is excited to welcome WPRI-TV Channel 12 News Reporter Julianne Lima to host the third annual TIMES2 Inc. Charity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019. The tournament will raise funds for TIMES2 Inc.’s Academy, Enrichment programs and Institute. The Tournament will take place at Agawam Hunt Golf Course in East Providence, Rhode Island.

The day’s activities will begin with registration and lunch at 11:30 AM followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. The golfers will be return to the clubhouse for a cocktail hour followed by dinner and an awards ceremony beginning at 5:30 PM. Attendees will also be able to participate in raffles and a silent auction. According to TIMES2 Inc.’s Executive Director, Dr. Rudolph Moseley, “Our Charity Golf Tournament is a great way for the community to support TIMES2 Inc’s strong academic emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) principles as well as our enrichment programming and community-based Institute”.

Julianne Lima joined the WPRI-TV Eyewitness News team in April 2016 as a morning reporter. She is also the weekend morning anchor for Eyewitness News This Morning. As a Southeastern Massachusetts native, she is thrilled to be back home delivering the news where she grew up. Prior to joining Eyewitness News, Julianne spent two years as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor in Binghamton, New York, at the market-leader WBNG-TV. Julianne graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and a minor in Psychology. She was also awarded the Don Edwards Broadcast Journalism Award for ‘demonstration of superior writing, reporting and performance skills. She began her career as an intern for NBCUniversal in London, England, during the 2012 Summer Olympics. From there, she also interned at WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island, KISS 108 FM radio in Boston, Massachusetts, and WSYR in Syracuse, New York. She was also an anchor and reporter for the SU student-run television station, CitrusTV.

TIMES2 Inc. is located in Providence, Rhode Island. The non-profit organization operates a STEM-based public charter school serving kindergarten through grade 12, an Enrichment branch offering programs to its students and to the community and an Institute which provides continuing education for adults, community events and professional development for educators.

Registration for TIMES2 Inc. Charity Golf Tournament will open in February 2019.
